Margaret Wheatley
President Emerita, The Berkana Institute
Dr. Wheatley writes, teaches, and speaks about how to organize in chaotic times. Since 1973, she has worked on all continents, in many cultures, and with most types of organizations. She is co-founder and president emerita of The Berkana Institute, a charitable global leadership foundation. Dr. Wheatley has written numerous articles and four books: Leadership and the New Science (in more than twenty languages and a third edition), Turning to One Another: Simple Conversations to Restore Hope to the Future (in a second edition), A Simpler Way (with Myron Rogers), and Finding Our Way: Leadership for an Uncertain Time. She earned her doctorate from Harvard University and has a masters degree in media ecology from New York University.
