Stephen Jordan
Senior Vice President and Executive Director, Business Civic Leadership Center, U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Mr. Jordan has been senior vice president and executive director of the Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC) since its founding as the Center for Corporate Citizenship in May 2000. He has produced numerous conferences, policy papers, and other projects and programs related to the fields of corporate social responsibility and business ethics, community development, disaster assistance, and public-private partnerships.
Mr. Jordan serves on the U.S. National Commission for the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the board of governors of the Corporate Responsibility Officers (CRO) Association, and the New World Institute. He is also on the selection committees for the National Governors Association Public-Private Partnership Awards and the U.S. Conference of Mayors Public-Private Partnership Awards.
A Caux Round Table Fellow, Mr. Jordan holds an M.B.A. from Georgetown University and an M.A. in political and social thought from the University of Virginia, with accompanying academic honors from both institutions.
