President and Chief Executive Officer, McCormick Foundation
David D. Hiller began serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the McCormick Foundation in July 2009. The Foundation’s Mission - is to advance the ideals of a free, democratic society by investing in our children, communities and country. David is the past President, Publisher, and Chief Executive Officer of the Los Angeles Times. Previously, he was President, Publisher, and Chief Executive Officer of the Chicago Tribune Company. He serves on the boards of the Chicago History Museum, The Field Museum, the Metropolitan Planning Council, and Roosevelt University. He is a member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, the Commercial Club of Chicago, and the Economic Club of Chicago. A native of the Chicago area, David received a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College and a law degree from Harvard Law School.
