Linda Daily

2-1-1 Director, United Way Worldwide

Ms. Daily has provided leadership for the national 2-1-1 system—2-1-1 is the federally designated dialing code for access to community information and referral services—and managed strategic partnerships with national organizations and federal agencies. She is a member of United Way’s core crisis team, vice chair of NESIC (N11-8xx Essential Services Interoperability Council), a member of the Coordinated Assistance Network (CAN) Steering Committee, and past president of the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS) and the Junior League of Central Westchester, New York. She is the former executive director of Family Information and Referral Service Teams (FIRST) in White Plains, New York, and an architect of the 2-1-1 New York system. Ms. Daily received a Master of Science degree in education from Iona College.
