Ted Canova

Mr. Canova has a distinguished journalism career spanning 24 years both on-air and as news director of industry-leading television stations. He has covered disasters ranging from Northeast hurricanes to Massachusetts floods to the Challenger explosion. For 12 years, he led news departments in elevating their investigative reporting, and in the mid-’90s was one of the first professionals to embrace the Internet’s role in television newsrooms. Political leaders and news outlets worldwide called on Mr. Canova’s extensive communication skills when a Minnesota bridge collapsed in 2007, as he was working 200 feet away at the Twin Cities Red Cross.

Today Mr. Canova is a founding partner of JTM Vision, a Minnesota-based business consultancy that helps organizations connect with the public.
