President and Chief Executive Officer, Neighborhood Centers, Inc.

Founded more than 100 years ago in Houston, Neighborhood Centers is a $180 million human services organization that brings resources, education, and connection to underserved neighborhoods throughout the Texas Gulf Coast region. Over the past decade, Ms. Blanchard has focused the agency on an asset-based approach that builds on the human, social, and cultural strengths unique to each neighborhood. Under her guidance, Neighborhood Centers has been recognized for its high standards of service and accountability by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Association for the Education of Young Children, Texas Education Agency, Better Business Bureau of Houston, Harris County, and The WorkSource, as well as by SmartMoney magazine, The Chronicle of Philanthropy, and The NonProfit Times.

With exceptional clarity and vision, Ms. Blanchard regularly speaks and writes on topics such as immigration, the human side of disaster recovery, asset-based human services, and organizational leadership. She is a member of the Greater Houston Partnership’s Executive Women Partnership and the JPMorgan Chase Community Advisory Board.
