David Anderson

Vice President of Civic Programs, McCormick Foundation

Mr. Anderson’s responsibilities include oversight of the Freedom Museum; the Foundation’s Citizenship grantmaking program, which supports youth civic engagement; and the McCormick Conference Series, which brings together thought leaders on a variety of subjects related to the Foundation’s mission. He is president of Bears Care, the charitable arm of the Chicago Bears, and is a board member of BUILD, a Chicago nonprofit with a 40-year history of helping inner-city youth avoid the high-risk gang lifestyle.

A Chicagoland native, Mr. Anderson received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Northern Illinois University in 1990 and his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago in 1999.
