Preparing Successful Grant Proposals

This course is designed for participants who want to learn how to write a winning grant proposal or refresh their proposal writing skills.

While participants can work on given assignments at any time, day or night, there will be specific deadlines for completion. Plan about one hour for each session, on-line reading and responding to the work of other participants and another two hours each week to complete assignments to be posted for review. In addition there will be three hours of scheduled phone instruction.

A member of The Fund Raising School faculty will serve as on-line instructor leading group discussions, monitoring the public forums and offering individualized email feedback if requested.

Participants must be proficient in word processing and web browsing and must have an Internet connection.

You'll learn how to:
  • Understand the basic principles of fundraising that are vital for requesting funds by means of proposal writing
