Led by Dr. William G.
Enright, we are a research and public service arm of the Center on
Philanthropy. As a fully endowed institute within Indiana University our
primary mission is twofold:
1) To enrich the academic environment
of the Center on Philanthropy and Indiana University as it explores the
dynamic relationship between religious and philanthropy via research,
seminars, course offerings, public lectures, distinguished visitors
programs and publications.
2) To creatively
utilize the resources of the Center on Philanthropy by building practical
bridges of information, learning and service to the wider public,
especially religious communities, by providing forums and seminars whereby
congregations, special interest groups and individuals may explore the
spiritual face of philanthropy in such a way as to inspire transformative
and generous giving.
