Lake Lectures
Lake Lecture - Christian Smith - 3.12.15Lake Institute on Faith & Giving presents the 12th Annual Thomas H. Lake Lecture featuring Dr. Christian Smith on Thursday, March 12, 2015 in Indianapolis. Smith is a the William R. Kenan, Jr. Professor of Sociology and Director of the Center for the Study of Religion and Society at the University of Notre Dame.
This 4 day course, offered collaboratively between Lake Institute on Faith & Giving and The Fund Raising School, focuses on the opportunities and challenges facing faith-based organizations and the role of leadership in fundraising and donor care.
Designed for decision-makers and leaders, the 2015 conference explores the need to remove preconceptions, shift organizational culture, and addresses how individual fundraisers, whether a major gift officer or a vice-president of development, can shape a relational fundraising environment that cultivates women as donors.
