Institute on Philanthropy and Voluntary Service

Are you involved with organizations on your campus that promote volunteering and civic involvement? Have you ever thought that you'd like to learn more about why philanthropy is so important for American society? Have you wanted to learn more about the historical roots of philanthropic activity and the ethical values that support them? If so, come and study at the leading research and teaching center on philanthropy and voluntary service--the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University. Develop your leadership skills, earn school credit, and conduct an internship in a nonprofit organization.

Application for the Institute is made to The Fund for American Studies. An online program brochure, Live, Learn & Intern, is available here , along with application guidelines, detailed information about the Institute, and an online application form .
