The Indiana University Foundation has joined together with the Indiana University Alumni Association to sponsor access to boardnetUSA through the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University.
The boardnetUSA Web Site is an innovative and revolutionary online tool that connects nonprofit boards with new leaders. If you’re an individual interested in board service or a nonprofit looking for new board members, you’ve come to the right place.
If you are an IU alum looking for opportunities to conect with Indiana University, this is also the right place.
Connecting Leaders with Nonprofit Organizations
This site does not replace the process of building relationships. What it does do is open access to a world of nonprofits and a world of leaders who may never identify one another through their traditional methods. Nonprofits often find leaders through relationships; and their ability to find board members this way is limited by the size of their relationship circle.
This free online service creates a marketplace where nonprofits and individuals interested in board involvement may find each other. The search process is enabled by powerful technology that helps board candidates and organizations screen for particular attributes, skills, locations and other data that meet their needs.
