Philanthropy is about
changing the world for the better. It is an internal force that brings
you personal fulfillment, and an external force that influences your
life in ways you may not even be aware of.
The Center on Philanthropy understands that force and improves
the way it works.
Philanthropy crosses all segments of society.
Think of almost anything associated with quality of life: Every
dimension is supported in some way by nonprofits, donors, or
volunteers. The Center on Philanthropy’s work is essential
to them all. As a result, the Center’s impact extends into
nearly every community—including yours.
The Center is at once the guardian and the vanguard of a profession
and a tradition that are vital to society. That is a great responsibility,
but one the Center embraces. By strengthening philanthropy, the
Center is helping to strengthen society. And by strengthening the
Center, you are strengthening philanthropy at its core.
A powerful gift indeed. |
