Harnessing the Strengths The Center’s work in any one of these areas would be significant. But when they all come together, their value grows exponentially. Research informs scholarship, scholarship informs research, and both inform teaching. They all unite to inform the training programs. Spacer The Center’s comprehensive approach balances research with action, reflection with practice. Individual programs, strong in themselves, merge into an even stronger whole. Together they work toward one equally comprehensive goal: to improve the understanding and practice of philanthropy.
