Research Partners

The Center's groundbreaking research provides a basis for better decision making in the nonprofit sector and empowers nonprofits, funders, and donors to accomplish their missions more effectively. Its expertise impacts public policy, nonprofit management practices, grantmaking, and more. This high-quality, objective research is labor-intensive, and therefore expensive, but its impact is significant.

Quality of Life Project

The Indianapolis Quality of Life (QoL) Project’s goal is to provide the greater Indianapolis area with data, research, and other information to help residents and stakeholders understand the many dimensions of the area’s quality of life. These dimensions include public health, education, the economy, public safety, philanthropy, and many others. This information is conveyed via a website that tracks each of the QoL dimensions via a number of indicators, provides pertinent research reports and articles, and references to related community programs and promising practices. The QoL Project is a collaboration among four IUPUI research centers: the Center on Philanthropy, the Indiana Business Research Center, the IU Public Policy Institute, and the Polis Center.

For more information on the QoL project, please visit http://www.inqualityoflife.org/.
