National membership organizations for fundraisers, nonprofit managers, and researchers

ARNOVA - (Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action). The Executive Office of ARNOVA is located at the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy, Indianapolis, IN.

Association for Healthcare Philanthropy - This association is dedicated exclusively to the health care development profession. The site has the latest in healthcare fund raising education and information.

Association of Fundraising Professionals - The Association of Fundraising Professionals represents 25,000 members in 163 chapters in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, working to advance philanthropy and the fundraising profession through advocacy, research, education, and certification programs. Effective January 1, 2001, the National Society of Fundraising Executives (NSFRE) became the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).

Association of Lutheran Development Executives

Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) - CASE is an international association of education advancement officers. Offers educational resources and training programs and services to members. CASE's purpose is to help their members "advance the cause of education."

Indiana Campus Compact - Indiana Campus Compact (ICC), a membership organization of Indiana colleges and universities, is dedicated to the promotion of service-learning in higher education. ICC facilitates service-learning through mini-grants for students, funding for faculty, workshops, and linkage to national Campus Compact initiatives.

Native Americans in Philanthropy - Nonprofit organization concerned with philanthropy and native peoples.
